Our last GASP!

Following notice of the discontinuation of funding from Glenorchy City Council in May, GASP has terminated its licence to operate on the Elwick Bay foreshore site. After ten years this ambitious and challenging experiment in public art will shortly come to an end.

Site specific artworks - The Waters Twine (Susan Phillipsz), Herba Ostrea (Matej Vogrincic) and Hunting Ground ... (Julie Gough) are being gifted to the residents of Glenorchy and will remain on the site. The Council continue to have ownership over the pavilions and boardwalks and it is our understanding that these will not be affected.

Any enquiries or requests to use the site should be directed to the Council.
